Draft Flinders Ranges National Park - Trail Master Plan Public Consultation

The Department for Environment and Heritage has released for public comment the Draft Flinders Ranges National Park - Trail Master Plan (the plan), prepared by Planning for People. The Plan seeks to cater to the current and potential market in providing a diverse range of short and long walking opportunities including high quality long distance walks that may be done in sections; a range of easily accessible shorter walks; and opportunities for cycling that are consistent with the type of visitors that come to Flinders Ranges National Park. The Plan also provides recommendations on trail construction techniques and proposes a range of maintenance work that is required on the existing trail network.
